Christmas Fun!

Christmas was so much more fun this year because of Teagan! We did lots of fun things together like baking gingerbread cookies for daddy (T decorated one herself!) and she loved watching me decorate the house! We had some friends over for a little holiday cheer and we took Teagan to see Santa Claus...which did not go over well. She was completely terrified, poor thing!

This year we got to have 3 Christmas celebrations!! My grandparents came down from Oregon and were out in Moreno Valley at my Aunt Debbie's house, so the day before Christmas Eve took a drive out to visit! My mom and Andi came with us and we had a great time visiting with Grandma and Grandpa!

4 Generations 2009! On Christmas Eve,went over to my cousin Brian's house and then to my Aunt Diane's house. Teagan had a blast playing with a new friend Trent over at Brian's. He was so good with her and had her laughing so hard and running around! At my Aunt Diane's, Teagan got to play with her cousins Kyle and Serenity, and she got to see little Autumn who is just 6 months old. We had a really yummy dinner together and we enjoyed the quality time with family!!

Christmas morning we had our first real family Christmas with the three of us...our little family! We made cinnamon rolls and tea, and watched Teagan open her gift from Santa...which she really loved! A table and chairs just her size :) Then we headed over to Renny's parents house for some more family fun. She had 2 little cousins to play with this year and it was neat to see them interact...Estella is almost 3, Parker is almost 2, and then there's little T. Somehow we forgot to get a pic of the 3 of them sitting together :( It was an awesome Christmas all around and will be followed by many more!

Ridiculous Amount of Catching Up To Do Part 2!

November was a fun month for us! Teagan FINALLY said "mama," got much better at walking and is my little dancing fool :) She absolutely loves anything having to do with music! We spent Thanksgiving at Rob & Cora's this year and had a great time with the family! Here are some pic's:

December 2009:

Teagan's language is developing more each day... now she can say:

dog (sounds more like daaaaa)

yes/no... she can shake her head for yes and no also!

She learned how to:

blow kisses

give hugs

she's getting better at running and trying to walk backwards

she walks around talking on her cell phone and cracks herself up ;)

she is beginning to play pretend! 

I am so amazed at all of the new things Teagan learns each day. I can't wait to see what the upcoming year brings! Here are some cute pic's from the month! This rocking chair was given to Nini on her 1st birthday!! Teagan loves to sit in it when we visit Grandma Cora's house :) Christmas Pic's are coming up next!!!

Ridiculous Amount of Catching Up To Do!

I have really been slacking when it comes to the blog! It is definitely not been caused by a lack of activity... We have had so much going on for the past few months, so I am going to get caught up now :) 

TEAGAN: 9-12 months

I just re-read my last post from when T was 9 months old... I thought time went by fast then, but oh my has it really gone at lightning speed! The rest of our summer was really fun. We went to a few of the free concerts at the Seal Beach pier with friends, spent a lot of time at the park, had fun playdates, went on many walks, and celebrated lots of September birthdays ;)

Teagan continued NOT saying mamma... but learned lots of new things: 

She learned how to bark like a dog, which helped her to become better friends with little Bisou, haha! 

She is up to 6 teeth! 4 on top, 2 on bottom

She likes to hum while she eats and is eating more big kid food... her fave is cheese and puffs!

She learned to use a sippy cup!

She learned to walk about a week before her 1st birthday and had to relearn the art of falling gracefully, lol!

TEAGAN TURNS ONE!!

The month of October was spent planning T's birthday party...so soo much work! In the end, the party was awesome and she had a great time with everyone. On her actual birthday, I invited the fam over for dinner and cupcakes! Here are some pics from her party and big day:

Teagan also had her 1 year check-up with the doctor. She weighed in at 19lbs, 5oz and was 28.5 inches long.... This put her in the 25th percentile in weight and 19th in height.

HALLOWEEN 2009:

My little T was a ladybug this year! We spent the day with Chris & Shauna at Pa's Pumpkin Patch, then had some friends over to hand out candy and carve pumpkins :) Teagan was really not sure about sticking her hand inside the pumpkin... I think it was too gooey for her! Here are the pics!

HOLIDAY PHOTO SHOOT 2009:

This year we had Erin Tukua take our Christmas card pics. She is the amazing photographer that I've had take Teagan's pictures over and over again! We walked all around Seal Beach and got some really good shots:

My Little Monkey is 9 months old!

I can hardly believe that my Teagan is already 9 months old.. I never thought time would go by as fast as everyone told me it would! Teagan is all over the place now and I LOVE watching her personality unfold more each day. Here are some new things she's been up to:

• She loves to give high fives!

• She doesn't use her knees to crawl, just her hands/feet!

• She holds on to the furniture and walks around quickly now! 1 time she stood on her own for 5 seconds or so until she realized I wasn't holding on :) Then she plopped down on her bum.

• She has pretty much mastered the art of falling gracefully

• She absolutely loves other babies & kids.. she's instantly waving her arms and talking to them!

• She is seriously always cracking herself up!

• She is making much more complicated sounds than even a couple weeks back!

• She is still NOT saying "ma-ma"... she says "da-da" and "na-na-na" all day long!

• She is becoming such a ham!!!

• She let's everyone know she is in the room, wherever we go..

• She likes to dangle toys/paci from her stroller while we walk and sometimes drop them (a way to keep me on my toes?.. maybe I'll drop it.. maybe I won't, haha)

• She likes for me to turn the showerhead on when she's taking a bath & plays with the "rain"

• She is becoming more of a cuddler (my favorite!)

Renny's Store is Up & Running!

On Sunday, Ren took me by his store so that I could see it before opening day. I was amazed at how much work had been done and am just so proud of my hubby! This started out as a completely empty building 3 weeks ago... Renny & his guys worked super hard without a real day off to get all of this together for opening day. Go Allied!!

Teagan's First Trip to Daddy's Work!

For close to a month now, Renny has been working hard to get his new Allied location in Culver City up and ready for opening day! I was anxious to see how it was looking, so Renny took Teagan and I up there a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed to see how it went from an empty space to having all the shelving up and ready for product in just one week! Here are some pic's from the trip and as you can see.. Teagan was very proud of her daddy's hard work!
