My Little Monkey is 9 months old!

I can hardly believe that my Teagan is already 9 months old.. I never thought time would go by as fast as everyone told me it would! Teagan is all over the place now and I LOVE watching her personality unfold more each day. Here are some new things she's been up to:
  • She loves to give high fives!
  • She doesn't use her knees to crawl, just her hands/feet!
  • She holds on to the furniture and walks around quickly now! 1 time she stood on her own for 5 seconds or so until she realized I wasn't holding on :) Then she plopped down on her bum.
  • She has pretty much mastered the art of falling gracefully
  • She absolutely loves other babies & kids.. she's instantly waving her arms and talking to them!
  • She is seriously always cracking herself up!
  • She is making much more complicated sounds than even a couple weeks back!
  • She is still NOT saying "ma-ma"... she says "da-da" and "na-na-na" all day long!
  • She is becoming such a ham!!!
  • She let's everyone know she is in the room, wherever we go..
  • She likes to dangle toys/paci from her stroller while we walk and sometimes drop them (a way to keep me on my toes?.. maybe I'll drop it.. maybe I won't, haha)
  • She likes for me to turn the showerhead on when she's taking a bath & plays with the "rain"
  • She is becoming more of a cuddler (my favorite!)

I took Teagan to have her pictures taken at Herritage Park in Cerritos (super fun park!) and here is the link to see some of the shots!

Renny's Store is Up & Running!

On Sunday, Ren took me by his store so that I could see it before opening day. I was amazed at how much work had been done and am just so proud of my hubby! This started out as a completely empty building 3 weeks ago... Renny & his guys worked super hard without a real day off to get all of this together for opening day. Go Allied!!
Here is the video :)

Teagan's First Trip to Daddy's Work!

For close to a month now, Renny has been working hard to get his new Allied location in Culver City up and ready for opening day! I was anxious to see how it was looking, so Renny took Teagan and I up there a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed to see how it went from an empty space to having all the shelving up and ready for product in just one week! Here are some pic's from the trip and as you can see.. Teagan was very proud of her daddy's hard work!

4th of July 2009

This year we were lucky to have our good friends, Chris & Amber & James Bauer down to visit from Bishop for the weekend! We hadn't seen them in just over a year, so we were excited to have them come stay with us. James has grown so much in a year and is almost 3 years old! We went on a couple walks and went to the park where Teagan & James played on the swings. Teagan really liked her new friend! She laughed so hard at everything he did. James is such a little sweetheart and played so well with Teagan. I can't wait until she is big enough to run around with him!
The 4th was really fun this year! Renny & I took Teagan over to Uncle Frank & Aunt Cindy's annual party and she had a blast. She is such a little ham! After Frank & Cindy's, we met up with the Bauers and lot's of friends over at the Fraser's. I took Teagan swimming in the pool and she just loved watching all the big kids splash around. As the day went on, I was excited to see how she would like the fireworks, but hadn't really thought about the fact that they wouldn't start until way past her bedtime! I tried to keep her awake, but she had a fun filled day and just couldn't do it.. Her and James were pretty delirious by the time we got home and I put her to bed as soon as we got home. Little James was determined to see the fireworks so he stayed up for the show. Stephanie and River came over to our house and we all walked up onto our deck to see what we could see. It was pretty awesome! We saw the Queen Mary, Vet's Stadium, HB, and some other random ones here and there. James was VERY impressed. He was laughing and making sound effects each time he saw one glow in the sky :)
When Sunday morning came, the Bauer's had to hit the road and we were sad to see them go! It is always so much fun hanging out with them... wish we could see them more often :) Maybe next time, we'll have to take a trip up to Bishop! Here are some cute pic's from our weekend!
