A Long Lost Friend Returns

SLEEP!!!!! I cannot forget to mention that for the past 2 weeks, Teagan has only been waking up once during the night to eat! The past 2 nights, she slept completely thru the night!!! I actually feel human again. It is so absolutely amazing! Thank you Jesus =)

Renny tells me I have been slacking on keeping up our blog.. so here are just some cute pictures of Teagan that I have been taking over the past few weeks. She is really growing so fast and even in just the past few days, is discovering more and more of the world around her. She is reaching for toys and reaching for her bottle at feedings! She is full of smiles and is on the verge of laughing, but can't quite get it out =) It is amazing to watch her grow and become more aware all the time. I feel so blessed to have her and be able to be at home with her!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Christmas has always been one of my very favorite days of the year, but this year it was extra special. My littlest T turned 8 weeks old on Christmas day! It was so much fun spending time together as a family. On Christmas Eve, we went over to my cousin Brian's house for dinner. I was a little weary of how Teagan's mood would be, but she was awesome! Most of my family got to meet Teagan for the first time, so I had fun showing her off =) They all loved her. Christmas Day, Renny & I enjoyed a cup of tea together before Teagan woke up. Then we packed up and went to Grandma & Grandpa's house for the day! Again, Teagan was amazing all day long! Both our families really enjoyed meeting her and spending the day together. I can't wait for next Christmas!!!

Turkey Day 2008!

We weren't planning on going out this Thansgiving with Teagan, but decided it would be fun to get out of the house for a while =) We packed up little T and took her over to Rob & Cora's for the afternoon. She was an angel the whole time!! Renny & I have a lot to be thankful for always, but this year God gave us the most amazing blessing that we couldn't be more thankful!!

3 Weeks Old!

Little T turned 3 weeks on Thursday!! Time is really going by fast. This was my first week with Renny back at work and it's been another big adjustment, but things are beginning to settle down. Sleep is still a distant memory as I'm sure it will be for a while yet... but my sweet little girl is so worth it.

Bath Time! =)

Renny & I were super nervous about giving Teagan her first real bath, but my mom came by to help us out =) It went well! She did not like it at first because the mesh bath was a little cold.. but as soon as we got more warm water running on her, she seemed to like it! She wasn't as slippery as I was expecting, so I think I can do it by myself next time! Well, with Renny's help of course =)

Ten Days Old!!

The past 10 ten days seem to have blurred together! I have never been so tired in my life. I feel so blessed to have Renny here with me for another week, because he is such a huge help!! I don't know how I would be doing any of this without him. He is such an amazing daddy and loves his little Teagan. We had a scare after we brought her home because she wasn't eating and lost too much weight.. but with the help of nurse Brenna =) and Teagan's pediatrician, she is already back to her birth weight! Thank goodness for nurse Brenna!!!! This is a really big adjustment, but we are all getting used to it and I love my little girl so soo much! She is well worth losing sleep =)
