Teagan & the Rice Cereal

Tonight Renny & I gave Teagan her first taste of real food... something that Teagan's been waiting for! She's been very interested in our food for a while now and even attempted to steal a piece of lettuce right out of my mouth a few weeks back! Well tonight, she finally got what she wanted :) The only problem was that she woke up from her nap really hungry and didn't quite understand what was going on at first. At the start of the video, she is crying her little eyes out because she watched me make her a bottle but instead of going to the couch to drink it, I put her in her chair to eat... needless to say, my hungry little monkey was not a happy girl! She just wanted her bottle at first, but after she realized that I was putting food in her mouth she changed her tune :) The video is a little long, but I really wanted to share :)

Teagan's 1st Vacation

This weekend we took Teagan on her first vacation to Palm Desert. I was really excited about taking her in the pool for the first time and anxious to see whether she would love it. Teagan did great in the car and slept most of the way. She was so curious when we went inside the house and was looking all round. I wasn't sure how she would sleep in her pack n' play for the first time, especially with new surroundings, but she slept thru the night and took naps just fine! Renny blew up the floaties while I slathered Teagan with sunscreen and put her bathing suit on. She absolutely loved the water! She wanted to splash around while either of us held her much more than she wanted to sit in the floatie. Here are some cute pic's!

Tea Party! April 15th 2009

Today I took Teagan down to one of the many "Tea Party" protests that were going on around the country. We walked down to the one going on in Seal Beach. It was pretty cool to see so many people speaking out on this issue and I hope it sends a message to our government! Teagan had a great time :) Here are the pic's!

Easter 2009

Teagan was such a joy this Easter. She was in a great mood all day! When she woke up, we read to her about the real reason for celebration on Easter Sunday, Jesus, from her children's bible. She loves when we read to her and I know each year she'll understand more and more about why it's such a special holiday. While T took her morning nap, Renny & I colored eggs together! Neither of us had done that in so long and we had lots of fun :) When T woke up it was time to go to Lexi's house for lunch with the family. Allison & Tyler surprised us all by driving down! It was great to see them and Teagan just loves Estella!! It's wild to think that next year she'll be running around with her cousin! My mom & Andi stopped by for a bit when we got home to visit with Teagan, then it was off to bed for her and time for mom & dad to relax! I had an awesome day with the family and can't wait to see what the rest of 2009 will bring for us :)

5 months!

Another month has flown by... I can't believe how fast Teagan is growing! Here are a couple cute pic's of little T and here's the update from the doctor's apt: 14lbs, 15oz and 25 3/4 inches long

That put's her in the 60th for weight and just under the 75th for height... hopefully she'll get some of daddy's tall genes and not be a midget like mommy :) Oh yeah... she is finally rolling over!! She's done it almost every day this week!! Wahoo!
